Oakwood Lodge Park
Oakwood Lodge is a peaceful and secluded Park in the heart of Mid Wales, just outside the small town of Rhayader. We are home to 14 self-catering heated log cabins, all of which have private garden areas offering privacy as well as the attractive 5-mile panoramic view towards Elan Valley, with its mountains, lakes and moors.
Oakwood is set in 20 acres of park land which includes our Blue Bell filled woodland of about 3 acres. All the self-catering lodges face south to enjoy the sun all day. The Park is in an exceptional are for bird watching; Red Kites hover above the lodges and the sound of Owls hooting in the trees is always a delight. We have 8 lodges that sleep a maximum of 4 people and 6 lodges that sleep a maximum of 6 people. Three of the 3-bedroom lodges offer bunk beds in the last bedroom for kids to enjoy. Dogs, and other pets are very welcome with enclosed secure gardens. Each property has a private hot tub along with outdoor furniture.
